Sending wine as a gift can be a thoughtful gesture and there are many great occasions to send wine, afterall who doesn't enjoy a nice bottle of red of white to celebrate!

With that said we've put together this quick guide so you can have a beautiful wine gift sent quickly to the lucky recipient. 

What occasions are great for gifting wine?

There are all sorts of occasions but our most popular ones are Birthdays, Saying Thanks or Just Because. We also have seasonal wine gifts for Valentine's Day, Father's Day and Christmas. Our Christmas wine gift hampers are particularly popular amongst our corporate customers.

What type of wine should you send?

Well you're in luck as we've done all the thinking for you!

We've specially curated a range of wines (both white and red) that are perfect for gifting. Not only do the wines present beautifully but they are well rated and taste amazing, the lucky recipient will love their gift.

What's a unique way to gift wine?

The traditional and most common way to gift wine is having the wine presented in a printed box which presents nicely. Ours also come with a custom gift message and some shredded paper on the inside so that it looks extra lush.

And now while we've sold a bucket load of our wine gifts in this traditional way we wanted to come up with an different and innovative way to gift our wine.

So in 2023 we designed and created the Wine Bottle Brain Teaser Puzzle!

This takes the traditional bottle of wine gift to the next level. The box is designed so the lucky recipient can see the bottle of wine through the cut out in the front but to get the wine out of the box they must solve the locking puzzle to remove the lid!

It's a fun, quircky and unique way to gift wine. So if you're after something a little different we definitely recommend the Wine Bottle Puzzle as a gift.

Can you send a personalised message with my wine gift order?

Yes of course! On each product page there is a message box to include your gift message. Simply type the message there and we will include it with the gift.

How long is dispatch and delivery?

We dispatch each weekday from our Sydney based warehouse. Delivery can be as quick as next day depending on the delivery destination.

Can I place an order from overseas for a wine gift to be delivered in Australia?

Yes! While most of our customers are Australian based we get quite a few orders placed online by friends and family that are overseas and want to send a little something to their loved ones here in Australia. Simply place the order and enter an Australian delivery address.

When theaters close their doors they keep an electric light illuminated on the stage, to keep the resident ghosts happy. With lockdown, Ghost Lights have been burning bright on stages around the world. Good for the ghosts, not so for those in the Arts. Brewed with extra light malt, oats and a blend of Citra and Nelson Sauvin hops, creating a brilliant white gold brew, with a distinctly spectral haze. Just what's needed to raise spirits. Brewed to support our mates in the arts. ABV 5.2%

- Aether Creature of The Night Peanut Butter Stout

Heavy aromas of peanut butter and peanut brittle, further accentuated by the mouthfeel and oily slickness of the malts. Subtleties of chocolate and caramel can also be found. Quite dry for a dessert beer due to the lack of lactose. ABV 7%

- Pirate Life Double South Coast Pale Ale

It’s sunny yellow, judiciously hopped, and twice the size of our flagship pale. What more could you want?! As well as doubling the recipe, we replaced Taiheke hops with Amarillo - an ode to South Coast’s maiden iteration, the Light House Pale. Nostalgia aside, it’s a punchier variety, and cuts through the extra with ease. The malt bill’s the same (there’s just more of it) and we’ve stuck with Verdant Ale Yeast, too. After all, it’s not a South Coast without those juicy stone fruit esters. Expect that classic yellow hue and a sturdy haze. Aromas of citrus and peach waft from the collar, which settles fluffy and white. To drink, it’s fruity and plush, with pleasant bitterness and oodles of South Coast charm. ABV 8.8%

- Jervis Bay Eggcellent Chocolate Milk Nitro Stout

Delicious notes of chocolate waft from the glass as you pour this rich, luscious stout. Big-bodied with that touch of sweetness that makes a milk stout great, and a subtle chocolate finish that lingers after every mouthful, this is an adult treat in a can! ABV 5.4%

- Hop Nation x Lervig Bearded Seal Double Hazy IPA

Bearded Seal is our double dry-hopped Hazy IPA we brewed in collaboration with LERVIG in Norway. The Bearded Seal, found in Norway, is a heavy set creature with large whiskers. This collaboration needed a big beer. Mike from Lervig came to Footscray and caused plenty of havoc in the brewery. Double dry-hopped with a punch-bowl of fruit-forward American hops, we then added pineapple, passionfruit and mango to the ferment. Full haze, full juice. ABV 8%

- Bridge Road Eggster Triple Chocolate Ale

This decadent triple chocolate ale possesses an uncanny ability to make every rich mouthful feel like a holiday. Eggster tastes like your favourite Easter chocolate in beer form. ABV 6%

- Dainton Crumblicious Honeycomb and Toffee Stout

Local organic cacao, homemade candi sugar, and a love of chocolate bars create this toffee milk chocolate stout with a fluoro golden head. Like a big, honeycomb hug for your tongue. ABV 7.1%

- Mountain Culture Equinox Marzen

Marzens are traditionally brewed for the Oktoberfest celebrations. But we love the style so much that we just couldn't wait that long. Easy to drink and perfectly crushable, there's also a solid malt backbone with plenty of complexity. Biscuity with some light caramel notes, slight floral and honey characteristics on the nose, and all rounded out with a dry finish. Delicious! ABV 5.5%

Beer Description:

A smooth & creamy dark beer brewed with loads of vanilla beans, giving it a big vanilla aroma and sweetness which is backed by a lovely chocolate & roasted malt character and a firm bitterness to finish. A great desert beer or one for any sweet tooth!

Based on a German style recipe, the Pony Lager is approachable, easy drinking, thirst quenching and perfectly balanced. A gateway beer and the perfect selection matched with any food. Vegan friendly.

Style: Australian Pale Ale

ABV: 4.5%

Beer Description:

Sunny is our interpretation of a modern Australian Pale ale. Sunny undergoes generous whirlpool hop additions as well as a double dry hop to build in layers of hop derived flavours. Our house ale yeast strain also contributes a wonderful fruity character. Common descriptors of Sunny amongst the brew crew include words like " tropical", "passionfruit delight with underpinnings of mango and pineapple sage". Sunny is unfiltered and spends a minimum of 28 days in the fermenter prior to packaging. The tank time and lack of filtration allows us to express Sunny in what we believe to be it's best form.

This imperialised expression of our well known and dearly beloved West Coast IPA has been amped up to 9.0%, taking us one step closer

Beer Description:

Juicy citrus and pine with a firm hop bitterness. Windjammers were the kings of the sea in the 19th century. Built to carry cargo and travel long distances, this is a beer that embodies the same character. Packed full of Australian and American hops, added at various points in the journey to ensure a balanced and full flavoured ale. Windjammer will get your boat rockin’!

Beer Description:

Summer Ale was brewed with long Aussie summers in mind, but can be enjoyed all year round. This hot-weather favourite is loaded with fruity, crisp characters, and has minimal bitterness. The hop aromas of melon and passionfruit add a pleasant floral character, and complement the subtle fruitiness on the front-palate. The finish is crisp, dry, and as refreshing than diving straight into the pool on a hot day.
