What Do Men Like (want) For Valentine's Day?
This is a question many people, like yourself, ask every February.
We ourselves had this question until we came up with and launched our gifting website Brewquets in 2016.
While our initial premise was not Valentine’s Day specific (we were first set on answering the age old question of “what do you get someone who isn't into flowers?") it turns out the answer we came to lends itself quite well as a gift for men on Valentines Day.
As a general rule of thumb most women are into flowers, so we knew that the main target for a non-flower gift alternative was likely men. And what do many men like? Beer!
With that in mind we first launched with the 3 Beer Bouquet, aka the Brewquet, a play on words between “brews” (beers) and a bouquet of flowers.
For Valentine's Day 2018 we appeared on the Sunrise morning show and sales went crazy! It was a fun but a bit of a hectic ride with the response from recipients and gifters absolutely amazing. This really helped validate our thinking with 99% of these beer gifts were being bought for men.
Taking Valentine's Gifting Up A Notch
Then for Valentine's Day 2019 we wanted to take things to the next level and released a range of Valentine's specific beer gifts which to date we have sold over 7,000 and are a hit each year.

Valentine's 24 Beer Gift Pack
The upsized version of the popular dozen brews this gift pack also comes with a themed Valentine's box wrapped with a bow but features 24 different beers from some of Australia's best breweries. It's the beer equivalent of two dozen roses and weighs a whopping 11 kilograms. If you are after the ultimate WOW! factor this is the gift to get him.
Valentine's Beer Hamper
Using the same box as the dozen brews listed above this is the perfect gift hamper if you want to gift him beers along with some tasty snacks. Included are 9 different beers, jerky, nuts and a milk chocolate bar.
New Product For 2024
Not ones to sit on our laurels we wanted to have something new to offer for 2024 so we took our popular beer can puzzle and jazzed it up for Valentine's Day with a red love heart locking rope and the option to select more that just beer as the canned drink that is trapped inside the puzzle.
If you are unfamiliar with the can puzzle here's what it is:
- the puzzle is a brain teaser where a can of drink is "locked" inside
- the recipient has to solve how to unlock the rope and wood lock to release the can
- only once unlocked can they enjoy the drink
We send the drink locked in the puzzle along with a QR code should they need help solving it.
Customise With Add-Ons
