Before we dive into our recommended push present for dads lets first recap on what a push present is and why they have grown in popularity over the years.
Push Present Definition
Wikipedia defines it as:
"A push present (also called a push gift) is a present a partner gives to the birthing mother to mark the occasion of her giving birth to their child. In practice the present may be given before or after the birth, or even in the delivery room. The giving of push presents has supposedly grown in the United States in recent years."
The word "push" is purposely used to represent the effort the mother goes through during pregnancy and ultimately labour and childbirth.
And for the record, let's call it as it is, women do all the work and any gift for men on this occasion is really a celebratory gift!
With push presents most commonly being gifted to women, some report that the push present gifting occasion was invented by the jewelry industry in a bid to sell more goods, however, there is no direct evidence to this being true.
Recent Growth In Popularity
In recent years the trend towards push presents has increased with media coverage of celebrities being gifted extravagant push presents, namely:

The day we each entered the world and began our human journey.
A question which is often asked is which day of the year is the most common to have a birthday?
Now thanks to the good folk at the Australian Bureau of Statistics we can give you the answer!
We've trawled through their data and combined it all to find out the most popular birthday.
To be specific we took the data of the daily number of births over a 10 year period from 2007 to 2016 and then averaged each year out to determine the most and least popular birthdays.
It is hands down the most comprehensive data available.
So here's the low down.
The table below displays, in colour, the most common and least common birthdays using the total number of daily births from 2007 and 2016.
The colour range is from a dark green (representing the most common birthday) to a dark red (representing the least common birthday).

The most common birthday in Australia is September 17th!
The least common birthday (you may have guessed it is) is Christmas Day, the 25th of December. If you are inclined to count leap years in the mix then the 29th February is the least common birthday, but only because they occur once every 4 years.
The line chart below shows average births, per day, per year (February 29th is normalised to show the average number of births per year, for each time it occurs in the ten year period).
Some key highlights:
The most common date of birth (September 17th) is roughly 9 months from Christmas / New Year period, meaning there's a lot of love around during the holiday season.

Before diving into the list of canned wine spritzers in Australia we thought we'd recap on what a spritzer is.
At a very top line level, spritzers are a mix of wine and soda water. This is similar to a beer shandy, which mixes beer with a soft drink like lemonade, except of course it is done with wine!
The ratio of wine to soda water varies but a general rule of thumb is 70 / 30 mix (wine to soda water respectively).

Wine In A Can Australia: 42 Different Canned Wines
Wine in cans is a relatively new concept but is fast gaining traction.
In the USA it currently represents over $40 million dollars of sales annually, and in both the USA and the UK sales have increased significantly, up 43% and 30% respectively from in 2018.
Australia often follows international trends within the international wine industry so the volume of wine in cans, while tiny at the moment, is gaining traction quickly and will explode over the next 12-24 months.
We recently wrote about the benefits of wine in cans compared to bottles and over the last 6 months the number of wine in cans has doubled, with most recent entrants, like Jacobs Creek. When larger established brands like this enter the market you can expect to see an increase in advertising and general awareness that wine in cans are available.

Originally only 11 people were within the mascherer community including one woman.
