How We Sifted Through All The Comments
For those of you wanting to know how we created these results here are our steps:
- Used software to scrape all the comments from each post.
- Used an online word counter to count the frequency each word appeared.
- Removed any redundant words like "the", "is", "a" etc.
- Grouped similar words, e.g. food, meal, lunch.
- Used the data to create the charts above, ranking from most to least frequency of occurence.
Note, the word flower/flowers appeared most frequently but as the intention with the posts was to find the equivalent of flowers we omitted that from the chart.
