- The origin of the "Old No. 7" brand name was the number assigned to Daniel's distillery for government registration. The government later redrew the district and he became Number 16 in district 5 instead of No. 7 in district 4, however, he kept the original number 7 as part of his branding.
- Each drop is refined and mellowed through a 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal and then placed in barrels made by Jack Daniel's. The result is a smoother and mellower flavoured whiskey.
- The whiskey is aged for at least four years before being bottled and released to the market
- Fast forward 170 years and you have in front of you the classic Jack Daniel's whiskey brand which has stood the test of time.
